A promenade journey for an audience of one to two persons at a time departing every 15 minutes to walk through the island town of Enniskillen taking in 3 venues for 3 televised short 5 minute monologues with en route visits to Enniskillen’s Beckett chess set pieces in local Enniskillen shops and spaces. Biographical recordings of Beckett’s life at the time of his marriage in Folkestone in 1961 can be listened to while walking between venues.
Commissioned by Creative Folkestone in 2021 for The Shape of Things to Come Book Festival to mark the 60th anniversary of Samuel Beckett’s wedding in Folkestone.
